Web Design Trends 2019

Recent Web Design Trends

The internet has grown, and changed a lot in past years: we’ve seen the rise of mobile traffic, the introduction of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Technologies are developing and we see the great effect they have on websites design. Please take a look at the most recent web design trends we are going to see in 2019.

Minimalism

This web design trend is probably one of the most timeless trends. The fewer elements on the website you have, the less your audience will have to think out. If a website is designed in a proper way, it will show the user exactly what they are looking for. Minimalism will still be a dominating trend in 2019. Giving whitespaces, contrast without distracting details provide your users’ freedom to catch the main ideas.

Chatbots

Chatbots are already utilized for a while now but due to the advancements in AI, they are going to be more intelligent and efficient. The new generation of chatbots will be showing up more on websites with higher levels of customization than we’ve seen in past. Bright colors will make them more visible on the page, and more inviting.

More Video Content

There is nothing brand new in the video content. Video looks catchy on the web page and fits an on-the-go audience who don’t have the time to scroll through a lot of text. What is new is the move Google made toward mixing search page results, featuring video content above standard web pages. This has encouraged websites to prioritize video production in order to make themselves searchable and shareable.

Easy Mobile Navigation

As the mobile traffic overtook desktop traffic long ago, navigation rules are also changing. The web design is becoming increasingly thumb-friendly. There are many studies telling how users hold their cell phones and how they move it, particularly those of the thumb, should be processed in the web design process.

Natural And Streamlined Shapes

Streamlined shapes create the illusion of flexibility and make page elements stand out. For web designers, it means creating the design making users feel human through the illusion of movement. Streamlined lines are more powerful if they are supplemented by colored drops of very different shapes.
